Hello students and parents. My name is Rick Wolter, I teach Biology, Environmental Science, Zoo/Botany, and Earth Science to all levels of Special Education. I am an alumnus of Elsinore High School class of 1976 and grew up in the valley. I earned  BA in Liberal Studies/ Environmental Science at the University of Redlands, a Masters from Azusa Pacific in Special Education. I am also the Co-Head Boys Varsity Basketball Coach and have coached basketball at EHS for 28 years. I played as student and have also been involved with our youth basketball program for 39 years in the community.  I'm very proud to be a LEUSD High School Teacher of the year, and RCOE Finalist for Teacher of the Year 2019.
I am the advisor for the Elsinore High School Solar Boat. We have built 14 solar boats and have been competitive and have won numerous awards and recognition for our school. Our Environmental Science classes have been awarded 12 Krieger Water Grants and have earned 6 Congressional awards. I'm very proud of EHS and the future of our students.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Donna, who is another alumnus and current Director of Special Education for LEUSD. We have been married for 44 years and have raised four children, all of which graduated from EHS.  All of my children are teachers for LEUSD, two of my children are also coaches.  We have 13 grandchildren and three of them are currently attending EHS. We have resided in Wildomar since 1977, we have all attended Wildomar Elementary school, and two of my Daughter in-laws are teachers there.  When I get the time I love to camp with my family, fish, coach, farm on our ranch and explore the great outdoors.
