You will need a separate sheet of paper anytime the text says use your notebook.  Make sure you use some of the words of the question to write your answer.

9th-Watch this video to more completely understand author's purpose.  We will continue our work in our texts.
 
11th-Close reading (annotate) Franklin's Speech in the Convention. Consider why Franklin chooses to illustrate his point in paragraph 1 by referring to a "certain French lady." What is the effect of this quotation? Write your thoughts on the bottom of page 44. We will continue this work in class.
