Algebra 1A is the first year of a two year Algebra 1 program. Algebra 1A covers the first half of the Algebra 1 textbook over the course of an entire year. The next year students would take Algebra 1B, which would cover the second half of the Algebra 1 textbook. Algebra 1A/Alg 1B program is intended for students who would like more time to complete Algebra 1, which is a state requirement for graduation. Alg 1A with Algebra 1B are A-G 4 year college bound courses. Students who want to be A-G college ready would have to Complete Alg 1A, Alg 1B, Geo, Alg 2. I am looking forward to great year. Welcome back Tigers! I offer before and after school tutoring, except Wednesday morning and Friday after school.
