Description
A task force of high school and California State University (CSU) faculty developed ERWC, a full‑year college preparatory English course for high school seniors. ERWC emphasizes expository, analytical, and argumentative reading and writing. ERWC aligns with the California English‑Language Arts Content Standards, addresses critical reading and writing problems identified by the CSU English Placement Test Committee, and prepares students to meet the expectations of college and university faculty. The course meets college preparatory requirements for both the UC and CSU systems.

Complete Frankenstein Activity 19 - Motivations & Considerations. In the first part, highlight Frankenstein's parents actions/behaviors/reactions to young Victor. Annotate/label in the margin what motivated them to act that way (i.e. love, responsibility, etc.) . After the stars, highlight Victor's actions/behaviors/reactions to his creation (aka the monster or creature).  Annotate/label in the margin what motivated Victor to act this way (fear, disappointment, etc).  Finally, answer the last 2 questions in the directions in a short paragraph.

In this quotation Adam is addressing his God (his maker). The quote Mary Shelley uses is written by Milton who wrote Paradise Lost (1667) and Paradise Regained (1671). Paradise Lost is a book length poem about the Fall of Man.
