I am Ms. Pedretti (she/her), one of your Assistant Principals at EHS. I have been in education for 19 years, 13 of which I spent teaching English. I miss teaching (so don't be surprised if I ask what you're reading in your English class), but I love being an Assistant Principal and working with students in all grade levels. We serve students at an integral time in their lives where they are learning about the world and themselves, and it is our job to help our students during this journey. 

 

When I'm not a work, I'm home with my three kids who are 16, 14, and 11, monitoring their homework and taking them to their activities. They keep me busy! We have one dog, Duke, and one cat, Apollo. I am an avid reader and coffee drinker, two things that, thankfully, can be done together. I love visiting libraries and bookstores, and I always carry a book with me - I never know when an opportunity to read a little more will present itself. Some of my favorite books are Harry Potter, the Caraval series, Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, A Wrinkle in Time, and A Discovery of Witches. A few of my favorite authors - meaning I'll read any book they publish - are Taylor Jenkins Reid, Fredrik Backman, Lisa See, Mitch Albom, and Khaled Housseini.
