Tradition (Elected Officers): Representatives in the Tradition class are responsible for all dance planning: (Homecoming, Winter Formal, MORP, and Prom) all school-wide dress up days, lunch activities including Club Rush, break activities including assisting with PRIDE Rallies, and have the class council meetings preparing minutes, reports, and signing requisitions for expenditures. Representatives are responsible for all grade level bonding events, homecoming ½ time show, Pep Rallies, and all athletic promotion and recognition including but not limited to Red Sea and Jungle attendance, advertising, planning and implementation.

In order to enroll in this class, a student must have applied for and potentially ran for and won an elected position. There are also appointed positions available. Click the document below titled "ASB Officers and Courses" to read about available positions. To apply for an elected position, you must be currently enrolled as an ASB student (one year of experience minimum). Elected positions include: Class President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer as well as ASB President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Your video should be approximately 15-30 seconds in length. Introduce yourself, what position you are running for, and how you plan to represent your peers as an ASB leader. Here is last year's video to give you an idea of how this will look.
-Interviews for appointed positions and elected positions take place March 16-25. CLICK HERE to sign up for your interview time/day. Remember, appointed positions do not require a campaign video. Check the "Expectations and Interview Questions" document to prepare for your interview.
-Video released and voting begins for elected positions: Monday, March 22nd
-Voting ends: Friday, March 26th
-No slander against others running for a position
-All promotion should be in good taste and character
-Personal social media accounts may be used to promote candidacy
