Hello and Welcome to my EHS website!
This year, I am teaching Honors and non-Honors Human Anatomy and Physiology as well as 6th period Athletic PE for Boys and Girls Tennis. This is my 20th year teaching (not including a couple of years teaching as a Microbiology and Human Anatomy Instructor at Augsburg College in St. Paul, Minnesota) and my 14th year at EHS. Also, this will be my 14th season as head coach for a very successful girl’s tennis program (one year undefeated Ivy League Champions 2018-2019, the top league in Raincross Conference and six-time undefeated Sunbelt League Champions 2012-2017-that is, seven years of league play without a loss 68- 0) and this will be my third year as head coach for the boy’s tennis team, which has finished second in League for the past two seasons. I am a graduate of Irondale high school in New Brighton, MN and I was awarded a B.A. (majored in Biology and Chemistry) from the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, MN. I continued my academic pursuits at the Weill Cornell Medical College - Cornell University in New York City, NY and received my Medical Doctorate Degree (MD) in May of 1985. I completed my teacher credentialing education at San Diego State University. Personally, I am very passionate about teaching and coaching and I feel fortunate to have an opportunity to work with the students of our community. I enthusiastically believe all students are capable of “greatness”.
Feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
