To all EHS students and their parents:
There is an app that is being used by students to bully and abuse other students and teachers. Please do not use this app inappropriately or use it during school hours. I am asking you to do this because bullying others is not what EHS is about, but, besides that, please know that law enforcement can become involved, and if you are found to have been using this app inappropriately, formal harassment and bullying charges can be filed.
If you downloaded the app. you are aware that you have signed electronically that:
1. “You are responsible for the content that you upload.”
2. “No nudity or violence”
3. “Don’t harass other people”
The app site states that a user’s phone is registered and the access to location-based services, including the IP addresses and camera applications on your mobile device can be accessed. If you download this app and use it, your phone and IP address can be located. In some cases, these have been turned over to the police and detective – and again, charges can be filed. Please make good decisions, and understand that there can be consequences to poor decisions.
If you have any concerns regarding the app, please contact the Assistant Principals Office in person to make a report or by phone at 253-7200 ext 7206 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org. It is important to us that the learning environment remain positive for our students to learn and our teachers to teach.
