From the emails I have been getting, it is apparent that many of you will be using your phones to complete the extra credit.  It is also apparent that many phones limit you to three activities. Cards/Flashcards does not count as an activity.   So, everyone is now required to complete only three activities per assigned extra credit topic.  If you have no access to electronics, work half an hour per assigned topic using your flashcards.  You must work with an adult that will send me a note/email with phone number to verify that you completed the assignment.

You must order food for everyone at your table. You must order in Spanish.  You must ask and answer questions just like the ones on the sample dialogue that we use in class.  No fair ordering a number three with a Coke, for example.

You must write an evaluation of the experience (in English is fine.) How did you feel about the experience? What did you do well?  What needs work?  What will you do differently next time?                                 

OR

You can set up a mock restaurant table at your house (or maybe at the home of a Spanish-speaking friend or neighbor who could ask the questions in Spanish) and do the assignment as described above. You can serve crackers and water or nothing at all.  You do not need to spend any money to get this extra credit.  There must be at least one adult present to verify the assignment--  even if all the people at the “restaurant” are students earning the extra credit.  You must also write the evaluation.

Go to conjuguemos.com.  Log in.  School ID is 99696. From the left hand side of the page, select "Spanish verbs."  Hit enter.  On the new page,  choose activity 6.  Set timer for 30 minutes.  Scroll down to the pop down menu for verbs.  Choose ser, estar and tener.  Under the pronouns pop down menu, choose "All but vosotros."   Go back up to the top of the activity.  Click "Start" and begin.  When finished, click "Record and Send."  You also take a picture of yur results as a backup.  
 
You may complete the 30 minutes of work by using smaller chunks of time, but to complete the assignment, I must have emails from you that total 30 minutes.  Assignment is due before your class period on Monday 9/28/15.
