Watch the CHAPTER 3 videos found on this website.  The first version of each video is without subtitles. Watch it first.  Then write a brief summary in English of what you think you heard.  Then watch the subtitled version of the videos.  Write down the Spanish and then translate it into English.  Turn this work in at the end of the period TODAY.

 

 

 

Then, working with your partner, decide on a non-emergency medical ailment and write a dialogue in Spanish from the moment you enter the consultorio (doctor's office where you talk with the doctor).  Both partners write down both sides of the dialogue.  Turn in both copies of the dialogue at the end of the period TODAY so I can evaluate your progress.

Tell the story:  Your  family and neighbors have decided to do a big Spring Clean Day.  Draw the event.  Who is cleaning what room?  Who is working together to get things done?  Concentrate on the house and the front and back yards.   Write at least 15 sentences. Write the sentences on a clean sheet of paper.  Please do not write the sentences on the drawing.  Write about a variety of people.  Use the GERUND to write these sentences.
