HW 16:   p. 375/1, 2, 3-33 odd, 39, 40

Quiz 4 on sections 7.1-7.3:  Introduction to Polynomials with adding, subtracting, multiplying, and special products.

HW 15:  p. 369/1-2, 3-43 odd

HW 14:  p. 362/1-4, 6-39 x'3, 43-46

NO notes.  Just group work with each other and study.

HW 12:  CHAPTER 6 REVIEW

Collaboration Thursday.  You'll be working in your group and  utilizing AVID tutorial methods.

Do the homework carefully to understand the equations and purpose of exponential growth versus exponential decay.

HW 4:  Day 1, you're going to do the 5 problems assigned in class.  Day 2 is when you will need to simplify the rest of the assigned problems following your notes and lesson.

UNIT 6 CH 5 Assignment Sheet

You'll need to study your notebooks to prepare yourself for the quiz.  Mainly on sections 4.1 and 4.2 and the beginning part of 4.3 that we went over today.

I found one video that is good for all three parts of your lesson for section 3.7. Instead of watching and taking notes on 3 small videos, I found one big video for you to take notes on.

Go back and review your notes several times to understand all the transformations to the absolute value graph and look at your homework questions as a pre-view.  Then in class you will continue working with your group to get a deeper understanding of the transformation for an absolute value.

 

Look at the assignment sheet and do:

p.160/1-4,6-30 multiple of 3

Study your notebook on all the transformations including the absolute value changes.  Do you homework and prepare for your quiz.

Homework on Solving Equations variables on both sides and with fractions.

This homework is on the back of the graphic organizer we started with in class.

Use the space on the right side to show all of your work.  Keep it neat and organized and legible.

There is a quiz this Friday.  What to study:

Solving one-step equations

Solving two-step equations

Solving multi-step equations

Study your flow chart for how to solve equations in your notebook. 

Study the problems with fractions and know how to solving with fractions in the problem.

Do the worksheet very carefully.  (I know you may not like the fractions).  Think of the operation and follow your guideline that we created in class to help you solve the equations.
