Your task is to look through The Stranger and imagine Meursault as a different man: a guy who is not an atheist. He can be any religion, but he has to be religious.
What would he do differently? "A lot," while true, is not the answer we're looking for. We want specifics. And because you are awesome, we're going to let you do it in list form.
So get to it. Give us a list of 10 fleshed-out things that would be different if Meursault were a religious man. Make sure you refer to specific points in the text (quote when necessary!) to prove your point.
At the end of your list, write one succinct sentence—hello, thesis statement!—explaining, overall, how the book would be different.
