April 7, 2020: Update:
Good afternoon kiddos,
I hope you're well and safe. I miss you all dearly.
I'm sure you're wondering what the update is for our class. So here's the latest update for how grades will work this semester and what we'll do for the rest of the semester. Also, make sure that you and your parents watch this video update from the school district: https://www.leusd.k12.ca.us/apps/news/article/1204290
#1: Grades are up to date (March 13th) : I updated your grades this morning and entered your Leader Project (poster or PowerPoint). It's only worth 50 points because you never got a chance to present. If you did this assignment, but never emailed it to me or I made a mistake, then just go ahead and email it to me so I can enter it ASAP.
#2: Semester Grades: As of April 9th, your grade for the semester will be posted. So whatever your grade is right now, that's what it will be for the semester UNLESS you would like to complete enrichment/make-up work. If you would like to bring up your grade, you have to make-up whatever you're missing first, then we will talk more about whatever enrichment activities you can do to bring it up more after that.
Make-up/Enrichment activities for our class will include:
-participating in the ASB social media interactions
-participating in senior sharing
-presenting your leadership poster
I'll give you more information on how to complete these assignments- just email me.
#3: From now until June: If you're interested in continuing to interact with each other and talk about ASB/leadership topics that we were going to learn anyway, please respond to our Remind updates. I think it would be fun if we did a Zoom meeting here and there, just to check in on each other. I also think a lot of you would love to see senior sharing- which we can actually do now that it's going to be virtual. These are all optional activities, therefore not graded.
#4 Communication: I am available via email and Remind. When I'm conducting a class Zoom where we all can meet, I'll update you when that's happening on ParentSquare and Remind. This is no mandatory, but again, option and a fun way to interact and stay connected. ASB leaders are the heart of the school, so I want you to stay connected to each other!
Hope you and your families are well and I hope that you're making the most out of this uncertain time. I'm so sad that our time together has been cut short. You were such a great class and I'm going to miss each of you. We had such a great time together and I'm so proud of you! When we get back to school in the fall, I won't be there (new baby) but I will be back in January. Please come by and visit- I'd love to see you!
Feel free to reach out with any questions you have! Email: [email protected]
Love you all!

Assignment
March 30th UPDATE:
Hi Squirrels,
Hope you're all safe and healthy. I miss you a lot! I know this is such a surreal, uncertain time, but I hope you're finding peace in the little things and connecting with friends/family/and school virtually. It really does help to chat! Follow @ElsinoreASB on Instagram (if you aren't already) for this week's virtual spirit week and Friday's virtual pep rally. It should be fun to see everyone participate!
I'm going to update you as much as I can, with the information I've received from our admin and district. Please listen to all updates you receive and keep checking the LEUSD website and the EHS website for more information.
As of now, there's not much to update besides teachers have been asked to not add our own lessons for you to do because you're supposed to be following the district given ones. Remember these are all OPTIONAL lessons because they will not be graded. It's only for you to keep up with your education during this uncertain time. Here is the link to those lessons: https://www.leusd.k12.ca.us/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=1695720&type=d&pREC_ID=1856778
I will be grading your leadership projects, since it's the last thing you turned in before March 13.
If you have ANY missing work, I would HIGHLY suggest doing so. I'll accept any work you have for partial credit. Some credit is always better than none. I'm not sure if your work from the first 9 weeks will be your permanent semester grade (because the district hasn't decided what we're supposed to do yet), but if it is, I'm sure you want to make sure that your grade is in tip top shape.
On Friday I should have more information and will post more here when I do.
Email me or message me on Remind if you have any questions.
Hang in there!
Love,
Mrs. Bremer
