Tryout Requirements
Please contact the coach for the sport(s) that you are interested in trying out for.

Before you tryout, you must complete the Online Athletic Clearance.
- Please see the Online Athletic Clearance directions below.
- This process must be completed every school year.
Before you tryout, you must complete a sports physical and be cleared by a physician.
- You will need to upload a valid exam with Physician Name, Physician Address, and Date with your Online Athletic Clearance.
- Your physical exam is good for one calendar year.
For Football, medical insurance is required.

If you started at Elsinore High School after the start of your 9th grade year, you must complete transfer paperwork.
You must be cleared by the Athletics Office prior to attending practices or tryouts.
Academic Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to participate in extracurricular and cocurricular activities, students in grades 7-12 must demonstrate satisfactory educational progress in the previous grading period, including, but not limited to: (Education Code 35160.5)
- Maintenance of a minimum of 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in all enrolled classes
- Maintenance of minimum progress toward meeting high school graduation requirements
- No more than 1 F in enrolled class.
The purpose of the interscholastic athletic program is to provide student-athletes with an enjoyable and challenging athletic environment which emphasizes the attainment of both physical skills and strong character development.
