Hello and Welcome to my website at EHS!
This year I am teaching MSJC Biology, Honors Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, and Academic Decathlon. This is my 22nd year teaching and my 20th year at EHS. I attended high school at Centennial High School in Corona and attended University of California, San Diego for my undergraduate studies. I graduated in 2003 with a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a BA in Human Development (a lot of psychology and other things!). I completed my teaching credential and Masters in Teaching at Chapman University. I completed a Masters of Science in Biology in 2020. I am married to an amazing woman who is also an educator in our district and we have two children, Katelynn and Aubrey. When I am not working tirelessly away in my cave (room 818) at school, they occupy most of my time. I am also a passionate Laker fan, have an unusual obsession with primates, and enjoy cooking.
Please feel free to watch the video below to learn a little bit about the classes that I teach, my grading policy, ways to communicate with each other, and more! Please send questions or concerns to the email address below or contact me any time through Parent Square. :)
