Hello Elsinore High students and families,
My name is Marisa Franklin and I teach English 9 and 10. I have been a teacher at EHS since 2014, and before EHS, I taught at Villa Park High School in Orange Co, and at Highland Middle School in Milford, Michigan. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Literature, and Language from Eastern Michigan University, where I also completed a teacher training program. I also have a Masters of Education and Leadership degree from Oakland University and Educational Specialist Credentials from Point Loma Nazarene University.
I am truly a reading enthusiast and I strive to instill the love of reading in my students. I have noticed that students have been gravitating more towards reading books and I am proud to say that our library here has one of the best selections around.
