Welcome students and parents! My name is Rico Borrero and I am one of five counselors at Elsinore High School. I currently service alphabet I-ME. I started my career in education in 2003 as a second grade teacher. I became a counselor in 2008 after graduating from Azusa Pacific University with my Master's in Educational Counseling. My philosophy in education is simple. Never give up on a student regardless of their grades or behavior. Who they are today and the decisions they make does not determine the adults they will become. I'm living proof of that. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family as well as hiking and cycling.
