I want to let you know more about me and my biology class. I have over 20 years of teaching experience and I am currently in my 17th year at Elsinore High School. I have also been fortunate enough to have been in the football coaching profession for over 25 years. I have coached/worked at the Division I level at the United States Naval Academy and Northern Arizona University. I have been on staff at both Palomar and Mt. San Jacinto junior colleges and also several high school staffs including Elsinore. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona and my master's degree from Northern Arizona University. I was born and raised in Arizona, but spent 5 years abroad in the country of Mexico. I have been married for over 14 years and have a step-daughter and a twelve year old son. I have a passion for the ocean and spend a lot of my free time in or on the water!

I am thrilled to be teaching Biology and hope to instill into my students a recognition that we are all affected by biology in our everyday life!! You will find my class to be interactive, but also based on some of the pillars of education! Thanks again for your time.
