Our district nurse, Jennifer Edquist, and our athletic trainer, Robbie Harrison, have put together some videos with information and tips about quarantine and staying healthy

everybody does Robbie Harrison athletic trainer and Sports Medicine teacher at Elsinore High School Corona virus why we on corn how is this helping the situation and couple ways to kind of boost our immune system and stay healthy and away from the virus as much as possible during this time for Jennifer and we're going to get start a question for one from a medical perspective the nearest why are we on quarantine why are we being asked to stay home and how are these things helping us in the long run we are home and we're trying to flatten down this virus if we all got sick all at once we would overwhelm our Healthcare resources so really we're staying home with somebody who made virus is it brand new have any immunity to it so if we were going to have to our resources and not deal with everybody getting sick all at once so we really have to that's a really we want to be able to help every single person that gets sick and if it we weren't staying home and we're kind of all being around each other we would have too many people sick of the same time and we don't have the healthcare infrastructure in place to help all those people so we would have people being unhelpful staying home is really helping the entire situation in the grand scheme of things at home to help us best stay away from this buyer how do you say the number one thing is just to stay home you can stay home we really should be going on right now if you have to go out for an appointment let's say you need to go to you are expecting your face face when you go out but also into a false sense of security like no what about seems like you know I know me personally in my family we're ordering more things since we're trying not to go out as much we're ordering from Amazon packages were maybe ordering our groceries or where organs food what precautions can we make with those pictures of what these ordering Texas systems again stay away from this virus as much as possible I think the great thing knocking on your door and they're stepping or they're just walking away I know you can wipe them down before putting them away maybe with boxes I know what I've been doing with boxes for deliveries that I've been getting is just unpackaging whatever it is that I ordered and then immediately I have to worry about any potential like virus that maybe on the surface you know maybe grandma grandpa that live with me or baby that lives of me or something like that so they are very good question what's a one of our family members or us we believe might have the coronavirus what should we do as parents when something like that happens should we go to the doctor should we call the doctor some call 911 what should we be doing if we believe somebody in my house one spouse Coronavirus thing that you should do would be to call your doctor and they're going to be with additional instruction the first the first thing I would do would be to call your doctor and find out what they recommend but if you're having severe symptoms whether you drive there or you call 911 if you're going to want to let the dispatcher know what it is information as they head out to your house but if you caught it early enough and it's pretty mild or maybe you were exposed to somebody who tested positive instruction best RL Turner High School nurse what latest video help you guys out a little bit of how to deal with warranty NY1 parking why is the things happening to us and we do in the second part for a video that's going to talk a little bit more about boosting immune system and mental health at home so if you guys are sometimes you go check out that as well thank you guys for watching
