Biography

In 2018, I joined the Tiger's Pride family and I have been teaching Ceramics at Elsinore High School ever since. My prior teaching experience includes being part of an Arts Education Program with the San Diego Unified School District and teaching a variety of Drawing, Design, Sculpture, Art Appreciation, and Art Theory classes at Cuesta College, Allan Hancock College, and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

After graduating high school, I served in the United State Marine Corps, as a Military Policeman, at Camp H. M. Smith in Hawaii, which had an amazing view overlooking Pearl Harbor.  After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, I started taking classes at Cuesta College, a community college in San Luis Obispo, CA.  I was at Cuesta College for several years and eventually obtained my Associate of Art degrees in Two-dimensional Art, Three-dimensional Art, and Arts Management.  When I completed my transfer requirements at Cuesta College, I transferred to UCLA and graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree in Art, becoming a Bruin for life.  Right after receiving my Bachelor degree from UCLA, I was accepted into a Master of Fine Art program at the University of California, Santa Barbara and at the end of the program I graduated with a Master of Fine Art in Art Studio.  In the Spring of 2015, I wanted to go back to college to obtain my teaching credential and I started taking classes at San Diego State University when I was excepted into their Teacher Credentialing program.
