Tigers, PC wanted to let you guys know that you guys are invited to join us in May for our lip sync battle! If you see the QR code around campus advertising the lip sync battle, make sure to sign up! Remember, the winner wins Canes!! if you have any questions, please see Mr. Baker in room 317, or any PC student on campus! We hope to see you all there!
Happy National FFA Week! Did you know that there are over 1 million FFA Members across the country in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands? Also, did you know that the FFA was established in 1928, making the FFA youth leadership organization almost 100 years old!? Happy National FFA Week to the over 400 Elsinore Chapter FFA Members here at EHS!
Seniors, Wednesday, March 11th, Moon Grad Services will be on campus at lunch to take orders and distribute already purchased caps and gowns! Don’t forget to get your grad swag then! If you haven’t ordered or signed up to borrow a cap and gown, see Mrs. Larios in ASB as soon as possible.
Did you know that the ASB has Paletas for sale today? $3 dollars, cash only. Find us at lunch right outside the ASB room!
Prom Guest passes are now available at the front office and in ASB. If you intend to bring a non EHS student to prom, pick up your guest pass permission slip and get them in as soon as possible. Tickets are still on sale!
Friday, March 20th is our Spring MORP dance! Come decked out in all your neon glory and get ready to have an awesome time! Tickets go on sale Monday, March 2nd. Guest passes will be available for this dance as well!
Friday, March 27th is Food Frenzy, provided it doesn’t rain! This one may be the best one yet! Food vendors to be announced beginning next week.
FCA(Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will be meeting today at lunch in room 503...all are welcome and bring a friend.
Congratulations to our Boys Varsity Swim Team on their first win of the season against Paloma Valley High School! The boys earned six individual CIF consideration times, with Dominick Drake and TJ Avalos each qualifying in two events, and Stryder Manners and Sean Gunnell each qualifying in one event. Our girls team came up just short, but still had an outstanding performance, bringing home six CIF consideration times as well. Addisyn Dwelley and Trinity Wheelock each qualified in two events, with Bella Drake and Isabella Perez qualifying in one event each. Great job, Tigers—and good luck today against Hemet!
Come out and support Elsinore Swim this Tuesday, March 3 at 4:00 as we take on Norco! It’s one of only four home meets this season, so don’t miss it. Show your Tiger Pride!
A Lunar New Year Fun Fact of the day:
Footwear purchases are off limits for the entire lunar month, as the term for shoes (haai) sounds like “losing” and “sighing” in Cantonese.
