Hi and Welcome to Mr. McBeth’s Physics and Chemistry Website!

My name is Glenton Mcbeth and I am a proud graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) where I earned a Master of art degree in teaching. I have taught in Jamaica for approximately 17 years and 2 years in the United States. I am certified  to teach chemistry, physics and biology. This is my first year at EHS since I only joined the teaching staff of EHS August of 2018 and I am excited to be a part of this illustrious and exciting team of educators. I am assigned to teach chemistry and physics at EHS.

My primary goal is to perpetuate knowledge and inspire learning by allowing students to activate their prior knowledge as well as encouraging them to utilize their independent critical thinking and analytical skills.

Parents and Students, you will find valuable information re my contact, personal information, Class rules, Class syllabus and grading policies on this website. This is my email address: [email protected].

Periods 1,2, 4, 5 and 6

Hi All,
I hope you all are staying healthy. Please continue to follow the guidelines set by the district and county and stay safe. If you have any questions for me please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Take care!

Chemistry and Physics

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all are doing well. Please pay attention to part of the attachment that speaks to your period. If you have any question please let me know. Take care and all the best.
The Chemistry students should read the document on solutions and work on the POGIL (worksheet) on solutions. This document is on my desk. Physics 4 should read the chapter in their textbook on waves and wave properties. Tomorrow I will send some questions on this chapter for them, but they should have enough materials for today and tomorrow.
Physics period 6 should review the chapter on circular motion and rotational motion. They will be tested on this chapter soon.
