10/3/18 - The Universe Rocks : Density Data Analysis

In One Note OR another app that allows drawing, sharing, and saving:

Transfer your data charts from paper to electronic format

Summarize the noteworthy data in 4 claims.

Choose 4 Items and draw a model of their Mass, Volume, and Density

Calculate average density for your two data charts

List possible reasons for why some of your data might be inaccurate

Be prepared for a class discussion about the data and how it relates to the universe.

10/1/18 - The Universe Rocks - Density Data

Pre-Lab Discussion

1. Draw a model of Archimedes and the Golden Crown
2. Draw a model of how to find the volume of a rock with a mass of 5 g
3. Draw a model of a cube with a mass of 16 g, a Length of 2 cm, Width of 2 cm, and a height of 2 cm.  What is the cube's density?
4. What is the density of a meteorite with a mass of 20 g and a volume of 5 mL?
5.  Summarize the lab safety video into 3 simple rules.
